Wet cleaning of fumes by wastewater – Ecological project

PRECHEZA Přerov started The Washing of Fumes with SOx using contaminated waters from own chemical plants.

Cleaning of fumes with SO₂ and SO₃ contents by (expensive) caustic soda is widely known as reliable technique and simple alkaline technology.
Oxidizing washing by acid waters with Fe³⁺ sulphates is not almost used in the world.
PRECHEZA has these waters as the waste from TiO₂ pigment plant.
Efficiency of this technology was confirmed – more than 85 % capturing.
